1. What is your refund policy?

Standard Orders

At Wood & Duck, we are committed to providing high-quality bathroom vanity units and excellent customer service. We understand that sometimes, things may not go as planned. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, our refund policy is here to help.

Eligibility for Refunds:

  • 14-Day Return Period: You have the right to return any standard, non-custom bathroom vanity unit within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Proof of Purchase: To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund Process:

  1. Contact Us: Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing Woodandduck@gmail.com

  2. Return Approval: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return your item.

  3. Inspection: Upon receipt of your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria.

  4. Refund Issuance: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.

Custom Orders

Custom Orders Are Non-Refundable:

  • Please note that custom bathroom vanity units, made-to-order products, and any items that have been personalized to your specifications are non-refundable. This policy is in line with UK consumer rights, which do not require us to accept returns or issue refunds for custom-made products.

Damaged or Defective Items

Reporting Damaged Items:

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at Woodandduck@gmail.com or on 07786 771 742. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Process for Damaged Items:

  1. Contact Us: You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the damaged or defective item.

  2. Provide Evidence: Provide photographs of the damage or defect, including photographs of the damage to packaging along with your proof of purchase.

  3. Resolution: We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, either by replacing the item or issuing a refund.

  4. Damage that is not reported within 24 hours will not be subject to a refund or replacement.

2. What is the delivery process?

Delivery Notes: Delivery is free throughout most of the UK (see below). Once completed, we will contact you to arrange delivery for a chosen weekday.

The product will be delivered via courier which means that the legs and any handles will be removed and the whole thing will be wrapped and packaged securely to enable safe transit. This will mean that they would need to be screwed back on (simply screw them into the clearly marked and predrilled holes with a screwdriver).
Delivery can only be arranged for weekdays with a delivery window of between the hours 9am to 6pm. Morning, afternoon or timed slots ARE NOT POSSIBLE. Please make sure that you can commit to this before making a purchase.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, please contact us for shipping costs before purchasing.

3. Are the vanity units waterproof?

Yes, our vanitites are treated with industry leading, water and stain proof coatings. Providing some very basic care steps are taken, our units will stay looking fresh for many years.

Care instructions will be provided with the unit.

4. Do the units come with pre-drilled holes for the plumbing?

A competent plumber would need to drill holes for the basin waste and taps, we do not pre-drill as we do not know the desired location. This is always best done on site to ensure the correct positioning. However if you do know the exact sizes and layout we can drill this for you before shipping. These details would need to be discussed and agreed beforehand as any mistake cannot be rectified once shipped.

5. What are our units made from?

Wev primarily use Canadian Yellow Pine and Various types of Oak. All of our timber is fully FSC certified which means it is sourced from sustainably mangaed forests.

Each timber is carefully selected for its unique charm and character and as such splits, large knots and imperfections are present in our handcrafted products.....this is intentional! .....however each piece of wood is chosen so that the imperfections do not affect the structural integrity and stability.
Please also note that wood thickness may vary on the top, bottom and sides depending on stock and availablity, however, this will not affect the overall dimensions. The back panels are made from FSC Poplar Ply.
